Schwa linked to a freely-available extra-long clip of Scanner Darkly (the first 24 minutes, including don't-copy message fore and aft). So of course I had to sit through it. Hey, nice casting. Somehow I think Death Note will make rather a better movie than a manga, but the transition is sure helped by the fact that you can recognise pretty much everyone from their drawn progenitors.
Now I just have to, uh, finish reading the manga, which kind of fell off a third of the way through. Cat-and-Mouse isn't so interesting ( Read more... )
